Amberin Huq Illustration

Amberin Huq graduated from University College Falmouth with a degree in Illustration in 2008 and has since been living and working just outside of London creating and painting under an organized heap of paper in her studio. Her work is thoroughly cemented in regarding the viewer playing with perspective, colour and light to create environments that tell a story through their composition. She also creates characters with personality and energy whether that be through what they are wearing, expression or gesture.

She has worked for various independant production companies creating concept designs for films and character designs for potential tv programs. Amberin has even ventured into theatre creating concept art in pre-production and atmospheric paintings that were projected over the performance to compliment the story being told on stage.

Amberin works predominantly in acrylic paint and ink.
